Richard Stockton College of New Jersey tuition to rise 8 percent

Undergraduate students will pay about $600 more to attend the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey full time in the upcoming academic year. The Stockton Board of Trustees on Wednesday approved an 8 percent increase in tuition and fees for the 2006-2007 school year. An 8 percent tuition cap was included in the state budget, which also reinstated some — but not all — of the proposed cuts to higher education, and the state's public colleges are expected to raise tuition by that much.
